There are two features to Spot Ads. The first is similar to a FFA site, in that you
get to put a banner on a page that numerous people will be promoting. The second is
similar to the numerous straight-line programs you've seen on the 'net.
FFA Features
There is a difference from a FFA page,
as the banners are only displayed after being approved by the Admin.
There are two reasons for this. First, as this page will get widespread distribution,
it will assure that the sites being promoted are acceptable to that audience
(i.e., no adult, warez, etc. sites). Second, to improve the speed of page
loading, the banner images will be copied to the T4I site, so their display
will be almost immediate. There is the added benefit that this will assure
that the images have been 'cleaned' by virus and other software to prevent
malicious attempts to 'harm' the viewers of the page.
Spots Features
As you might expect, banners were discussed first to get the simple topic out
of the way. While the banners have significant value through being on a page
that is promoted by many, the complexity comes from the operation of the
straight-line system that is the base of the program.
The major differences from a traditional spots program are:
Spots disappear as they cycle.
The system restarts if inactive for over a week.
Uncycled spots do NOT lose their entire value.
You are directly rewarded for referrals buying spots.
Unassigned new prospects are randomly placed under an existing member.

Now to get to the salient details of the system. Each spot ad will cost $5.00 to purchase.
Due to the nature of the coding behind the system, each member has their own
account where they can deposit as little as $5.00 to as much as they wish. This greatly
simplifies the operation. Also, as part of this account they can pre-load 5 banners
(and related URLs), so they can be pre-approved by the Admin before spots are purchased.
Finally, each member has the choice as to whether or not to take advantage of the automatic
repurchase feature when a stalled line is restarted.
Spot Purchases
As each spot ad is purchased, the member selects one of their 5 banners to display in the spot.
At this time, $5.00 will be deducted from their account. If the purchase causes a spot to
cycle (one disappears for every two added), the member who purchased the cycled spot will be
immediately have $7.00 added to their account. Also, the member who referred the
purchasing member will immediately have $0.15 added to their account.
To assure that no member dominates the action, no more than 5 spots in a row may
belong to one member. Also, any string of consecutive spots will have to skip the same
number to be purchased by others before another is allowed. For example, if one member
buys spots 6 thru 10, they must wait until at least spot 16 is available to purchase another.
System Stalling
So, what happens when the system stalls? This is inevitable in any system that relies on new
positions to advance existing ones. Therefore, when the last spot ad in the line is over three
days old, the existing line will be closed, and a new one started.
Each active member is automatically sent an email to inform them that the current line has closed.
In that notice is the date and time the new line will open, a randomly selected time in the window
of 12 to 36 hours from the time of the old line closing.
There are two things that will happen upon the closing of the existing line.
First, each spot that has not cycled will have $2.75 of
the original purchase price of $5.00 refunded to the owning member's account.
Second, the uncycled spots from the old line will be placed in the same order into the new line.
If a member has made the choice to turn the repurchase feature 'Off', none of their uncycled spots
will be added to the new line.
However, if it is set to 'On', the member must have a high enough
balance in their account to afford them, or only some will be added to the new line.
As an example, let's say that a member has a $1.00 balance and two spots that did not cycle in
the old line. When the refunds are added for those two spots, the member's balance will be $6.50
($1.00 + $2.75 + $2.75). When the spot ads are placed in the new line, this member will only have
their first uncycled spot entered in the new line. The reason is that there are not enough funds
available for the second. After deducting the cost of the first spot, the member's balance is only
$1.50 ($6.50 - $5.00). Since the second spot costs $5.00 and this is more than the member's balance,
it will not be placed in the new line.
Therefore, it will be important for members to monitor the balance
in their account to be sure, when increased by the refunds for uncycled spots, that it will be large enough
to afford placing all of them into the new line. Or, be satisfied that only some of the uncycled spots will be
added to the new line.
Once the new line is open with these previously uncycled spots placed, any member may purchase additional spots.
Referrals
To move on to another topic, let's talk about the referral system. Every page on the site
can be used to promote. Although, it is expected that the most popular page will be the
one with the current spot positions and banners. In the member's area is the addition you need
to make to each page's URL to have yourself recorded as the referrer of the visitor.
Also included are several examples, so members may copy-n-paste. The key to the system is that
this allows a visitor to review any page on the site for up to an hour and still be credited
to the member who caused the visit.
As an added benefit to the members, there will be NO unassigned new members.
They will be randomly assigned to an existing member. Your weight in this random assignment will be the number of
spots you have purchased. So, a member that has purchased 20 spots will be four times as likely to receive a
random new downline member than someone that has purchased only 5 spots.
This weighting will be reset to zero at the beginning of each month, so that new members will not be disadvantaged by
those that have been members for a significant number of months. The whole idea is to reward currently active members.
